Paphos old town shop-keepers angered over tax bills

Shop keepers in Paphos old town whose businesses have suffered during the ongoing upgrading works are angry over annual municipal tax bills which have to be paid before the end on the month....

Given the delays in implementation of the improvements, I think it only fair that they be given a lot more time to pay their tax.

We were walking around the area on Tuesday, its like a ghost town, how these businesses are going survive is beyond me

Yes it does look busy in Kennedy square, these new coffee shops seem to be doing ok at the moment, but the other shops are dead
