OK, I thought you were meaning doom and gloom here in Cyprus. We have neither here - every day is A1.

Floods in Greece, Corfu and Albania, heavy snow in France and Poland. We are lucky to live in Cyprus.

Stop watching the British news. It's always depressing, isn't anything you can alter, and mostly irrelevant to our life here on the Island Of Love. I gave up years ago, am still well informed, and much happier. Try it.

Stick an aerial on the roof (or an indoor one on the TV) and you can see all the local digital terrestrial channels (about a dozen) for free.

Jo morning.

Nothing like sticking your head in the sand, I have lived here a very long time and world events effect you like it or not, just look how close we are here to the many war zones, also the UK's dire financial position leaving the EU will effect many of our pensions when exchanging cash just to live on Cyprus.

I do hate watching world news as you, but no point in thinking it will not be a problem for us all here.

Not sure about that Island of love though...
