In Larnaca, the lowest prices of 10kg LPG bottles are recorded on November 13, according to the Retail Consumer Price Monitor of the Consumer Protection Service. On the contrary, the highest prices are recorded in Paphos, where the bottle price of 10Kg is up to € 14.00.
According to a PIC announcement, the lowest average selling price of a LPG bottle is recorded in Larnaca and amounts to € 11.17 compared to € 11.95 in Famagusta, € 12.11 in Nicosia, € 12.21 in Limassol and € 12 , 54 in Paphos where the highest average selling price is recorded.
The lowest selling price is again recorded in Larnaca with € 9.99. In Nicosia, the lowest price is € 11.20, Famagusta € 11.25 and Limassol and Paphos € 11.33.
As far as the highest price is concerned, it is recorded in Paphos (€ 14.00 a bottle of 10Kg). In Nicosia the highest price is € 13,65, in Limassol € 13,50, in Famagusta € 12,60 and in Larnaca € 12,00.
According to the Observatory on average, supermarkets / fruit shops are slightly cheaper than petrol stations, but this is not a rule.
It is noted that in the context of the Consumer Protection Survey, data on retail price levels of LPG (10kg) were collected from 183 stores (supermarkets / fruit stores and retail outlets) from Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Pafos and Famagusta 13.11.2017.
