Thanks for that info, Jim. Look forward to seeing what they do, its not that long since this store opened. The TOTK one is the older of the 2.

Mike the wife says it is on a notice board outside and inside the supermarket with these dates on it, might save a journey for someone.

I have a copy of this weeks Lidl special offers picked up at the Polis Rd store. No mention of the store being closed this week....

Jim was reporting about a sign seen on the Lidl door. If you want to question his statement, please include a photo of the door as evidence you have checked.

Dee only trying to help, I do not do shopping, but the wife and daughter both saw those notices unless it was a hoax, or fake news :) but you have to believe they were there, you will know tomorrow one way or another.

Just back from Lidl on Polis Road.

I've seen the closure sign, so it's
not a hoax or fake news.

Closed for 3 days due to renovation.

The closure details were displayed in the store as per the ogival comments. I imagine the online leaflets do not have the details as I don't think they are store specific.

When I went in there this afternoon the store was much quieter. But there were some gaps on the shelves, perhaps due to some earlier panic buying?
I asked the staff about the closure days. They said that it would be closed on Tues and Wed.

True. There was also a huge (larger than normal) pantechnicon waiting outside perhaps to be used for temporary storage. I wonder if they may be going to alter the way their delivery vehicles have to traverse the car park there to get to their unloading area in the far corner from the entrance?

Called in this afternoon, apart from the fruit and veg, everything has moved. No wonder they closed for a few days.

Basically all that has happened is that the various counters/cabinets/shelves have been moved around. Nothing new only the amount of time needed to find to where your usual shopping list items have been relocated.

Haven't been yet, but understand from a friend who has, that there are more 'aisles of randomness'
