Drunk patient attacks nurse at Paphos General hospital

Police arrested a man after he allegedly attacked a nurse and a doctor at Paphos general hospital on Thursday evening.

The suspect, 36, was at the first aid department of the hospital at around 8.30pm when he hit a 33-year-old nurse.

According to police, the patient, who was drunk, then attacked a female doctor who together with other people had attempted to calm him down.

The man was arrested by a police officer at the hospital and is being detained for questioning while the nurse was hospitalised as a precaution.

He's actually my mother in law's tenant but I'm not sure for how much longer!! He was prowling round this morning looking like the 'missing link' then went on to beat 7 bells out of his punch bag! He actually has a fairly responsible job, but again not sure fr how much longer!

A friend of mine who lives in Chlorakas has a really weird local man living next door to her. He flies into sudden rages,doesn't respect her garden boundaries, dumps his rubbish over the wall into her place sometimes.. and shout and yells when the mood takes him. He also has a job,but how does he keep it? Apparently,his father pays his son's bills....
