Video club on mag box

Post by Mrblobby »

Does anyone else find the audio level low on most films they watch ? Or is it just me ?

I have to turn the volume up to max to hear the talking , then when a music scene comes on it is too loud .

Sound levels vary from channel to channel. Some times we don't get sound at all or it is not synchronised with the picture. Then you just have to change to the alternative channel, if there is one. Still annoying though, I agree.

I have no problems with the channels in TV mode . It is only the films shown in the video club section .

Even if I put it through my hi fi , same problem .

Bobby yes the sound levels do vary through your TV speakers on films and videos, if funds permit to get a TV sound system that does not use the TV, I use two different makes of TV sound systems, both have a subwoofer and their own amplifiers with independent volume controls. I did not get on well with a Sony soundbar personally.

The other possibility is a good set of wireless headphone, daughter uses hers and says they have a great clear soundstage.
Jim.
