Nicosia sirens to be serviced/tested - people warned not to be alarmed!

Every year my self sanctimonious neighbour moans about the sirens going off, even though he knows about the significance of them.
He is however one who says that he is always up early, as its the 'best part of the day'.
On the upside I have told him what I think of him and he doesn't speak to me anymore, which is nice
