I saw this earlier but I must admit I thought the Municipal Property Tax was not going to be levied this year, only the one Property Tax to be paid to the Inland Revenue Office!

Local property tax set to change
Re: Local property tax set to change
Correct Austin7. But we await what % of the 2013 valuations will be used, and also if they will maintain the discount for pensioners (not all councils give this discount, our's does. All pensioners receive it (Cypriots or expats) once you have produced documentary proof of it).

Exactly so, like I said we will have to wait until the rates for our own areas are set.Austin7 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2017 1:15 pmThe % rates for different areas are all stated in Nigel's report - link given by OP.geoffreys wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2017 12:52 pmCorrect Austin7. I wonder why, though, they didn't set one rate for all the RoC based on the 2013 valuations?
Would be a lot simpler.
