When you realize how much other countries invest in photovoltaic I always wonder about Cyprus, where the weather conditions are much better to produce electricity from PV plants than for example in India. With 1000 MWp now installed in one single project it is the largest in the world.

Yet all these HUGE PV plants plus rooftop installations provide only a measly 3% of our juice.

They are not huge. Some MWp only. All over Cyprus are ca 60 MWp installed within the last 10 years...
In this article I posted we are talking about 1000 MWp 
in one single project, finished within 2 years...
