I knew a kid at school who could do stuff like that. He could turn on a sixpence too. We used to play British Bulldog, and the whole of the year would be on the playground. He rarely played, but when he did, he could dance from one end of the playground to the other, twisting and turning, and not one person would be able to even touch him, let alone hold him down for three seconds. Worst still, he would be constantly laughing as he dodged us, as if he was only doing it to humour us.

I bumped into him again years later, and was amazed to find he had given up playing. I think he played briefly for a minor club, but didn't like living too far away from home or something. Such a shame because he had skills I haven't seen since.
