10-year-old injured in Coral Bay Jet Ski crash

Police in Paphos are investigating an incident which left a 10-year-old girl from Israel injured following a collision between a Jet Ski and a banana boat ride at Coral Bay on Monday.

The accident occurred when the Jet Ski on which the 10-year-old was riding with her 39-year-old father collided with the banana boat ride as it was manoeuvring to exit the bay and into the open sea.

The 10-year old suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Paphos General Hospital for treatment and later released. No other injuries were reported.

The accident occurred just a few weeks after a British couple were injured – one seriously – whilst parasailing, also in Paphos.
