Neon Mall September Update

They have been extending the scope and size of Neon Mall this year. More shops and businesses are promised. We were recently asked for an update, so took our drone down to have a look.

My money is on another JUMBO in the Neon Mall.

I've seen a few people make that comment. I have contacted Neon Mall and asked them directly but have yet to receive a reply, other than an email letting me know that their team are looking at my comment.

I appreciate it can be deceptive when building are still very much under construction, but when I think about the footprint of the Jumbo stores in Paphos and Limassol that I’ve hiked around, then look at the new structure compared to the existing SHC space, which is probably smaller than Jumbo, I don’t think there's enough floor space there for another similar sized Jumbo. At their prices they need to stock a hell of a lot of stuff.

That rumour may have come about because Jumbo announced they are building two new stores in Cyprus.

Jumbo have recently announced they are to open two new stores in Cyprus. They don't say where, but they currently have seven. One in Paphos, two in Limasol, three in Nicosia (one of which is in the north), and one in Larnaka. My guess is that they will be in the north.
