Aphrodite's Roadworks in 2025

The B6 runs from Paphos to Limassol, and used to be the main way of travelling between the two cities before the construction of the A6 motorway. The area between Aphrodite's Rock and Pissouri was closed in 2019 due to instability of the land. They finished phase 1 of the repairs and it re-opened for a time, but now it is closed again. The other day we visited the site to see how far Phase 2 had progressed.

It is a very picturesque drive loved by many, Aphrodite Rock is a popular place all year round these days. In the video I saw the two in pink negotiating their way to the top, it’s the descent I don’t envy !!!
