Paphos Sea Front After The Storm

Cyprus was hit by a big storm last night. There are still a few clouds in the air, but now the seas are calm and the rain has abated. This morning we set out bright and early to survey the scene. In this film we show you the Sea Front. If you are coming here on holiday soon, then relax. As you can see, everything is getting back to normal.

There will be another film showing areas that were more badly effected, but I need to process that first.

This is supplementary footage to our film published earlier today showing the Sea Front after the storm. Not all of Paphos got off so lightly. Here are some of the scenes elsewhere in the city. I should stress that damaged trees are the exception rather than the norm. Paphos is very much open and things are getting quickly back to normal.

We recorded this film while driving through Paphos yesterday morning to get to the Sea Front. We start at the Lidl Roundabout and head down the B7 to Central Paps. From there we do a loop through Old Town before coming back onto the B7 and driving through Kennedy Square to the Kings Avenue Mall Roundabout. Then we drive to Light House Beach, before coming back through Kato Paphos, Bar Street and Poseidonos Avenue before finishing at Paphos Castle.
