Ochi Day is a Public Holiday in Greece and Cyprus, and celebrates the day that Greece said NO to Italy's demands in 1940, plunging them into the Second World War. In this film we start at Caffe Nero in Old Paphos and walk up to Kennedy Square. We didn't know what to expect, but found they were waiting for a big parade to start. So we picked a good vantage point, and filmed as much of it as we could before the battery in the camera ran out. It was a long parade! This film is an edited version of the whole event. If you want to see either TLC, Aspire or the International School of Paphos, be sure to watch from 11:10, where they make their appearances.

A very impressive parade & you certainly got an impressive point for filming

Yes I was quite lucky. They had built a raised plinth for the press and I managed to get a foothold on the steps up to it. To be honest I hadn't gone there expecting to film a parade or anything, so I was winging it. I could have posted a lot more footage, but most of it was very similar, compared to the carnival for example. I made a point of including TLC, Aspire and ISOP though, as my audience will be most interested in those three.
