Lidl,s have created a new carpark linked up to the existing one, lots more room, always thought that the car park there was rather small.

The 'New' car park was mentioned to me a week or so ago. Where is it please, and is it just gravel ground ?

Going down the Polis road, turn right after the MOT test station then when you used to do a U turn to get back to Lidl, turn right there and then after maybe 50 (?) yards, turn right again, into the car park.

Interesting how all the trolleys now seem to end up in the 'new' park. Few, if any, available in the 'old' rack.
Think somebody at Lidl needs to put their logistical thinking cap on!

Crap, that Lidl was always super busy ......... now that they've got extra parking space it's going to be even worse!

Answer is easy. Don't use it and make things easier for the rest of us.

One thing though, you must decide if you want to use the new car park beforehand as if you enter the old car park and it is full, you cannot return to the overflow car park without making a big detour.

Ha ha, you are obviously not Cypriot... They can go out of the entrance and turn right past the central reservation..
I don't know who you apply to for permission to do this ;-)

No covered area in the new car park, so if buying frozen items car will be hot on return.

Only the outer edge of the main car park is covered, so you have to be fortunate to get a shady spot..
Oh and Welcome J&K to this group :-)

Excellent. Just back from there.

Lots of space, easier to get in and out of and you don't have to avoid eye contact with the beggars when you take thew trolley back!

Much better, ben open about 3 weeks, plenty of space and nice level tarmac. There is a new trolley store in the corner by the small path that joins the 2 ares. Most of the trolleys seem to be there, with very few, if any, in the store area by the store entrance. On Saturday the beggars had cottoned on and were sat by the new trolley store. Only other issue is that if the car space adjacent to the new trolley store is parked, shall we say 'in a relaxed manner', access to the trolleys could be a challenge as it was on our first visit. It also means if your want to head into town from there, you can go down towards Time Out kiosk rather than the challenging right turn onto Ellados, or doping a big loop if you exit via the exit nearer the traffic lights.
