Sklavenitis expands to 27 stores with Papantoniou deal

Sklavenitis Cyprus has announced the integration of Papantoniou Supermarkets into its network. This move strengthens Sklavenitis Cyprus' presence, bringing its total number of stores to 27, while retaining 769 jobs.

In my opinion, Paps is the better of the two in terms of range of items and level of customer service. It would be a shame if this were to change.

Excellent news - since Sklavenitis has refurbished and upgraded their stores (nearly finished at the Ellados store) it is such a pleasure to shop there.
The supermarket in Kings Avenue Mall is also modern with a cooked food section - I go there for cooked chicken! Great for the local tourists too!

I have accumulated several thousand Paps points so better get them cashed in asap.

Yes, I heard rumours a few months ago that this might happen. I hope it will be successful, but at the same time it will mark the end of an era! Paps has been my ‘go to’,
Supermarket since we first arrived here over 20 yrs ago!
I value both their good variety of products and their General helpfulness. Hope this trend will continue.
