The Vouni Path

Post by Dominic »

Pano Panagia is a village full of charm and beauty, that lies in the foothills of Paphos Forest. As well as being the birthplace of Archbishop Makarios III, it also has an amazing nature trail to tempt you to visit. If you feel like a decent bit of exercise, then put on your walking boots and join us as we follow the Vouni Path.

Thank you, though to be frank, it would difficult to take bad photos at a place like that!

Looks fabulous. I might try that if the weather's good. Do you need a car to get to the start or is it close to a bus route? Thanks.
Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time.

The start is near the centre of the village, and it is a popular tourist attraction, so I imagine buses go there with some frequency.

Isn't the donkey sanctuary at Vouni?

The Vouni donkey sanctuary was in Vouni village, Limassol district. The name Vouni means mountain in Greek language, hence the name of the path...
