Paphos municipality to implement traffic management systems on improved roads

Paphos municipality has announced that, starting from this coming Wednesday at 12:00 PM, the following traffic management systems will be put into operation on the improved sections of Ellados Avenue and Evagoras Pallikarides Avenue:

1. Two pedestrian-controlled pelican crossings on the section of Evagoras Pallikarides Avenue, extending from its intersection with Kanigos Street to its intersection with the new Ellados roundabout.
2. One pedestrian-controlled pelican crossing on the section of Ellados Avenue, extending from its intersection with Amathountos Street to its intersection with the new Ellados roundabout.
3. Traffic lights at the intersection of Ellados Avenue and Onoufriou Kliridis Street, installed by the Technical Services of Paphos municipality.
The installation of these traffic management systems was carried out as part of the ongoing road improvement project for the two mentioned avenues, the municipality emphasized in its announcement. Appropriate road signage and signals have been implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Code.

Paphos municipality urges drivers to strictly adhere to the road signage and signals for the safety of both themselves and other users of the road network.
