The Mavrokolympos Reservoir lies to the west of Paphos City, in the same valley where you will finf the village of Akoursos. You can access it from the coast road between the Sea You Beach Bar and Coral Bay. The water level is fairly low at the moment, and we could certainly do with some rain. In the film you will also see the ruins of some water mills.
We end the film flying up the valley towards Adonis Baths. Were you to continue beyond that you would find yourself at the marvellous Martiri Gorge and Bridge, which we featured a couple of years ago, and is still one of our favourite places.
