Well I have to say that we, in our late 60's were enjoying it but then on came Ariana and we were stumped!
Still the kids love her and the atmosphere was electric!

Well I'm still there, prob due to my 12 year old. But even though music is way way not my choice, happy to stick it out for my granddaughter and for Manchester. Not all bad!

Oh oohhhh, Justin Beiber just came on!!! Could reverse my previous opinions!!!

Started to watch it and quickly changed channels. Us OLD and Grumpy men cannot stand that kind of (Supposedly) singing and prancing about.

Had the same feeling like the review from the Telegraph...

Smudger why is Ariana Grande a brave girl?

She was quick enough to disappear on the night and leave the country and cancel her London gig - yes she did the Manchester concert however she was never the target two weeks ago or last night. Getting up and singing in crowd is not been brave.

The person that is/was brave is the Police Officer that attacked one of the London terrorists who was stabbing people and appeared to be wearing a suicide belt, the officer only having his baton as a weapon.

The concert did the right thing, lifted spirits in Manchester and beyond, made a statement and raised money. The fact some of the music may have bent our old ears, is trivial. I do hate though, when 'artists' like Miley Cyrus use it to launch a new single and ask people to buy it.... It's supposed to be a charity night.
I also think Bieber was rather out his box.... and holding a guitar he's not playing a bit false.

However, the kids enjoyed it (although they probably looked around them when Liam Gallacher came on, in wonder...)

So proud of my two Granddaughters who attended the Ariana Grande concert of 22nd and returned to Manchester last night for this one. I knew my eldest would attend, but wasn't sure if her younger sister would want to, but she did.

As even Stevie Wonder played who is in my age group there was for sure music titles for everybody not only for old ears. Bieber's performance was very poor, (scared?) but Chris Martin (a real musician) was my favorite also performing together with Liam Gallagher (in his home town) was perfect.

Boycott, everyone at that concert was brave, get real! Absolutely anyone would have been a sitting target! daesh don't choose the easiest targets, far from it!! So anyone could have been at risk. I admire everyone who had the courage to go there, particularly those who were there when the first bomb went off. Including Ariana Grande and her crew.

Couldn't agree more. It is the duty of every generation to play music that annoys their parents.
