I know some people refuse to use Facebook, so this is what the facebook post says:

HERMIA NEEDS HELP! Is there anyone travelling from London to Cyprus who could bring HERMIA's new wheelchair with them? Does anyone have contacts in airlines who would fly this essential equipment out to us for free?
HERMIA has 2 front legs, her hind legs were cut off perhaps by a trap, and then perhaps by someone freeing her? Her bleeding body was then thrown in a garbage bin for collection - BUT SHE WAS FOUND and brought to us! She was a youngster when this happened 2 years ago, she has now grown and her original wheels do not fit her. The new wheels are ready and waiting in London - she desperately needs them! Please let me know if you can help get them here.

So, is anybody flying in from London?

Try British Airways and explain the situation. They were most helpful to my friend when she was sending a rather large consignment of knitted goods to a Uganda Orphanage made here by a knitting circle - they went free of charge as it was a charity.

I shared the Paws of Hope article on Facebook this afternoon and have received a request from someone at Hermia Paws of Hope to contact Joseph Mearing (Customer Service Operations Manager at BA) who will speak to someone there.

The info is on their page.....
