The accident was on 17/10/2015
The police investigation took almost 2 years.
The case started January 2019 on the 6 th July 2022 he was sent to jail for 2 years.

I sometimes don't understand how the justice system works here. Only two years in jail for a hit and run driving offense in which the victim dies. At the least the driver is guilty of manslaughter and possibly careless or dangerous driving.
