Rolls Royce have kindly offered their staff a £2000 bonus to help with the rise cost of living yet the unions reject it! Because (a) they say it’s not enough (b) they weren’t consulted.
If I was RR I would withdraw the offer!

A benefit of Brexit has been that the lowest paid jobs are now commanding more money. A lot of ardent remainers conveniently forget this. To a lot of people in the UK, this is seen as a tangible benefit of Brexit.
With regards to the unions. It is in the Tory’s interests to make the unions seem as bad as possible, as that is about the only reason that anybody would vote Tory at the moment, thanks to Boris et al. So don’t be surprised at the amount of Union stories you will see in the Press.
Case in point, the RMT strike, and how people go on about how much train drivers get paid. Train drivers aren’t even in the RMT, bu t that doesn’t suit the narrative.
