If you drive down tracks in the forest near Pano Panagia and Roudia, and come across closed barriers, that is because of this project. You can still walk down the tracks, but you aren't allowed to drive down them. I had this confirmed by contacting the Forestry Department when I queried why they had closed one of the tracks as it was part of the E4 walk.
