The waters are flowing through the Xeros Valley at the moment, replenishg the Asprokremmos Reservoir, and punishing the washing away the cobwebs on the valley floor. In this film we drive from one side of it to the other, passing near a couple of nice tourist attractions along the way. The first is Sinti Monastery. You get to this by turning left when you arrive at the river bed. That works fine when the river is nearly dry, like in summer. But when the waters are flowing like they are now you shouldn't even think about it. A couple of people had to be airlifted to safety because they failed to take into account the power of the water. So don't be like them.
Once we crossed the ford, we had a pleasant drive up the other side. If you take this trip, stop at the church along the way, and bring a torch. There are some fantastic murals inside.
If you are watching this on an exercise back, the first half is all downhill, and the second half is all uphill. To make up for it we play some particularly stirring music at the end, as a reward.

Re: Xeros Valley Crossing
After reading more depressing news on the UK cost of living your video cheered me up especially with the music. I'm sure I am not alone but for the first time I not only recognised but could name each piece
