Leaving Maximos Ranch

Post by Dominic »

We recorded this film when we made our recent virtual tour of the abandoned ranch near Kouris Reservoir. There is something about the ridge of hills on the opposite side of the lake that I find strangely fascinating. They have a stark beauty which I think you can see in this film. We start at the Staff Quarters and drive through the grounds before descending to the main road. From there we drive up to the dam and across it, finishing on the far side.

Beauty can be found anywhere but when you are driving you miss so many things & why I enjoy watching these videos. Nice choice of music again

Glad you liked it. :)

The annoying thing about producing these films is that the most popular ones - of the seafront and hotel strip and the road to Coral Bay - will get thousands more views than the ones I am most pleased with personally. So it's nice when I hear that the less popular country films are enjoyed.

I really enjoy your films of the countryside especially those like this one in more remote areas. I can drive on the seafront etc but I would never be able to do drives like this. Thankyou
