Yesterday I was parking my car in the car park near Kennedy Square, as I walked to the ticket machine a lady called me over and she gave me her valid ticket.
After I had finished what I needed in town I returned to my car and noticed the ticket was valid till 1pm, so as I was leaving the car park I noticed a man going to the ticket machine so I called him over and gave him the valid ticket, this was around 10.30 am.
The man said thank you and have a happy new year, and at that, I drove off both of us with a smile on our faces.

Kind people and been kind back
Re: Kind people and been kind back
I always do it, but that will stop when it all goes to reading no. plates etc.
Re: Kind people and been kind back
We do the same too, either pass it to someone, or leave it on the pay terminal. I think a lot of people do this now and it's a nice feeling to be able to give and receive.
Re: Kind people and been kind back
Be wary of doing that in the UK. If spotted the second person will get a ticket as they aren't transferrable. This has happened.

Yes, I used to love doing that in Paphos. . . . And could do it for a couple of years when we returned to Jockland, but ALAS . . . . no more.
