Akoursos, After The Fire

Post by Dominic »

This drive through the Paphos district of Cyprus continues from where our recent Chloraka drive finished. We head up to Akoursos. Our final destination will be Pikni Forest, but we shall get there in the next film. For now, we view some stunning scenery and say hello to some goats before driving through the fire damaged area around Akoursos.

If you follow any of these driving routes through Paphos and Cyprus, please don't throw your cigarette butts out of the car window. That is a great way to start another fire, especially as the landscape is a tinderbox at the moment.

Thanks again.

The fisheye effect was more noticeable on this film, but only when passing the telegraph poles which looked as though they were bending over backwards.

Not a criticism, just hoping the feedback is of help.

Yes I also noticed the effect more in this film. Thank you. Terrible to see the damage done by the fire.

I asked for feedback so welcome it, thanks!

The next film will continue the trip to Peyia, and has the same settings. After that there will be a film from Pomos to Polis, using tweaked settings. So it will be interesting to see what that looks like.
