Change to AstraZeneca schedule …

Post by MacManiac »

The announcement that the second vaccination (AstraZeneca) period was to be changed from twelve weeks to eight weeks was positive news. I wonder whether anyone has been notified by the ministry of a change of dates. My first vaccination was on 12th March and the second was scheduled for June 4th. By my reckoning the second vaccination should now be on 7th May - but I’ve not been contacted. Puzzled but not surprised …

The other reason may be because with new cases of the virus occurring in much younger people ,some being hospitalised ,the focus for new vaccinations is now on younger age groups who are now coming forward to be vaccinated... The Health Minister has said publicly that he is very pleased with the uptake. Also some appts for those in their 60's. Who have missed out previously.
