How things change. A few years ago we went to the original Steptoes store in Paphos, and were not overly impressed with the service we received (or rather didn’t receive). We left - never to return.

Yesterday we called in at the new store and what a change. Charming, helpful service ... nothing was too much trouble. The young lady who served us knew exactly what we wanted, and knew her products well. Within a few minutes we had bought our new mattress. We were then handed over to an older lady, who sorted out the free delivery and the disposal of the old mattress.

Delivery on Thursday morning. Very, very impressed.

How things change.

Indeed, things change a lot.

I remember Steptoes shop @ the entrance to Chlorakas.

I used the shop as a book exchange.

That was about 20 years ago.


It's now a kiosk.

I remember well Steptoes Chloraka shop where they sold mainly second hand furniture.
I didn't realise for a while that they had the new shop on the Polis Rd. More recently have bought several nice pieces of ( new) oak furniture and a settee from them.
Always had very helpful service from them, furniture was promptly delivered to me.
It's a good company to deal with.

Great store with excellent staff, furnished our home with them, 2 sofas, bedroom furniture, dining table plus chairs and a dressing table. Nothing was too much trouble plus dont forget their outlet shop further up polis road on the right which stocks end of lines etc at discount prices. The delivery service is top notch and the lads are quick, polite, tidy, good at their job and put any UK store I've used to shame. 100% recommend them

I bought a range of oak furniture from them but i didn't want the antique handle look. They changed them all for modern ones, no charge..

How refreshing to read a positive post about a business, well done! Personally I also think they are a great store. Super helpful and a decent range of stock. I also remember the first store in Chlorakas, I used to get books from there!

I would echo all the positive comments above. Steptoes really do have a great customer service attitude and delivery.
