I had the AZ vaccine, had a sore arm and flu like aches and pains, also nausea. Lasted about 36 hrs, then awoke feeling fine again.

Similar to Dee, also after the AZ vaccine on Monday. Yesterday was the first day I got up feeling okay but as we took a trip to Lidl in the early afternoon I had a wobble, going dizzy and unable to focus on anything properly. Luckily we were on the way to the checkout and heading home.

Today, I've taken it easy but my appetite is still below normal.

Had AZ yesterday. Woke around 2.00 am to go to loo. When I went back to bed felt ache in arm.. not painful just annoying enough to stop me falling asleep again so took a couple of paracetemal...sorted. Woke a couple of hours later than usual but fine after that.
Which ones did you and your husband get Jenny?

We have both had AZ. Wife was slightly tired. I had no effects at all. Looking forward to the second jab.
Cheers Norman.

More of my ex-colleagues from before we left UK for Cyprus in 2004, all younger than me plus members of our community Facebook group have all complained of several days of flu like symptoms etc after receiving the Astra Zeneca.

I had AZ in UK and felt fine just a sore arm. I think it just depends on the person not the vaccine.

I read something a few days ago which suggested that the side effects of the COVID Jab, were the body’s immune system reacting to what you have just been injected with, and starting to create antibodies. So “feeling something” was a positive outcome

I had the Pfizer in December and had a wee bit of a dead arm. That's all.

Two days ago I had second dose of Pfizer. My arm was really quite painful this time and the weariness that came over me was quite something. I really was a galloot and useful for nothing!!!

The whole SHEBANG lasted around 24/30 hours (whilst I temporarily felt sorry for myself) and I am ticketyboo again. I am now ready to face the world again. 😁

Those with just a few mild problems are lucky, at least they have had the vaccines.

The next lot of vaccine availability via the Gesy Beneficiary Portal is tomorrow Tuesday from 0800, so hope Jim can get in quick enough, as indeed i and my missus wish to.
Had a friend who went to Famagusta Hospital today for his, and he got there early and whilst waiting a succession of peoples names were called out and none came forward, and the nurse said this was common - no shows. He got done earlier than his appointment time.
