Things are still puzzling, to me..
Re.. " Authorities have said that the jab is expected to be available for the general population around spring but the Health Ministry has already released on Friday instructions for the public together with a photo of the vaccination card. "
So it seems like Spring is a date for the masses to have the Jab.. That is a while off, and I have not seen these 'instructions for the public' .. has anyone else and can they put a link on to them please..

Yes, but that announcement told the reader than they should register for the jab on a web site reached through the Gesy Portal. But when I tried, no one at Gesy appearedto know anything about it!
After the care home residents, care home workers, and all medical professionals (their word) have been vaccinated, supposedly, the over 80's. and then the over 75's, plus those with serious health underlying conditions, are supposed to be next.
It would be nice to know how one will be able to register for these groups? I hope that foreigners won't be forgotten!

A few people I know are like me - retired but not over pension age and don't pay social insurance so not paying into Gesy as living on a private pension. I do wonder whether/how we will be catered for if you have to be registered with Gesy to get the vaccination?

Whilst i totally agree that the vulnerable, care homes and medical staff should be top of the list but would it not better to vaccinate the working population in preparation to get the economy back on the road to recovery ?

Are there going to be restrictions on the vaccines or will the entire population eventually be done? If limited then I agree with the above.
I should have made my initial post clearer that was thinking more about the hospitality industry and didn’t really think about retail as they have been largely unaffected apart from the first lockdown.

Trev, the “instructions for the public” was brief update published the other day about what to expect when being vaccinated and what to do if you suffer an adverse reaction. It was copied into a post by Galexinda.trevnhil wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 10:11 am Things are still puzzling, to me..

There’s a fair amount of info about he overall plan for vaccination in the press releases on the PIO website, link below, but no specific instructions yet. If the priorities are the Care home residents and health workers , I guess the vaccine will go to them rather than the rest of us going to a specific vaccination centre. Stated target in one of the releases is 40% done by end of q2.

I saw that post with details about what to do if you have an allergic reaction. I will just wait to see if they inform my age group somehow, when and where to go..
