Converting fluorescent light to led

I did mine about 18 months ago, two different sizes. The vendor told me that the only thing I have to do is to remove the starter from the existing "conventional" fittings and it will be okay. He was perfectly right. I do not know whether this applies to all makes of LED tubes so I would advise purchasers to check with their vendors.

In my Kamares house, I had down-lighters recessed in the false ceiling in the kitchen and other main rooms. My electrician converted the ones in the kitchen and bathroom to take LED bulbs. He simply removed the starters. It seemed a very simple job.
Not that I would have attempted it by myself!
