Grand National TV coverage

Post by geoffreys »

We were unable to watch the race live as we were out for dinner, but had hoped to watch it on catch-up later in the evening.
However we were disappointed as all the afternoon's racing was on catch-up EXCEPT for the National.
What the heck is ITV playing at I wonder.
Checked their websites on the internet - same problem.
Does anyone know where we can find it to watch?
Thanks,
Geoff.

Many thanks indeed (albeit with a French commentary!).
Never thought to look at U-tube.
Geoff.
Edit: P.S. also found an english commentary version on u-tube.

Using the ITV player addon on Kodi, it is indexed under Horse Racing. The replay is some 2hrs 15 mins long so looks like the whole shebang.

How many poor horses died in this 'event' this year, may I politely enquire, please?

I won't watch any coverage of the race unless I know that no horses were injured or killed in it. It's got better over the years with the fences being lowered and not so many allowed to race but it still terrifies me that I will hear something I don't want to when it's on.

Yesterday, we were well away from any news coverage - doing a little Who Do You Think You Are sharing information on the outskirts of Bolton.

Surely the Horses only exist to run in Races?
