Not Sturgeon Moon, but the Troodos Moon

Post by cyprusmax47 »

Recently I posted some photos from Sturgeon Moon and received some interesting answers. This time I thought it would be also exiting to see a half moon when it raises on Troodos Olympos. Well, I must say it is difficult to produce something in that low light conditions, but here we go:

On the left hand side the lights of the Military base..peeping moon,

another 40 seconds later

now the best one in my opinion

very quick the moon is higher up, but interesting that on a not full moon one can recognize much better all the craters on the edges...

another example for that

Very nice. First one looked like a fire.

Never thought it looks like a fire, but since you said it I checked my photo gallery and found one pic with the first appearance which looks even more like fire.... :)
