Seen on my Facebook feed that Sunset Breeze is closing for the season, reopening 1st March 2021

We went to Les Amis today and had a good meal there as always.The owner told me that he is doing reasonably well now and hopes to be open in the winter. Which is good news!

I 'spoke' to the 'manager' from Melitzia in Tala in the week

He said they were really busy, but that several other places in the village were closed.

Martika's Kitchen in Tala is open. Its where the Square Bistro used to be.
Very good too.

I have to say since lockdown finished we ate in the restaurant twice.
The first time we went in early June, we were eating from the new menu, a few other diners were there, the 2nd time 2/3 weeks later we visited again..we were the only diners there ..I found their menu a bit too fancy, and expensive they’d lost a lot of the classics that we really enjoyed.
To me they should have reinstated the lunch time 9.99 special to tempt the few diners with limited finances ..Shame
