In the bar at the top of your FB page where it says search etc go to the very end & click on the black downward arrow. The option to switch back to classic is just above the log out option.
Hope this works for you.

Sadly, yet another ain't broke so we'll keep fixing it till it is broken.

The word upgrade used to mean 'making something better', more often nowadays it's just computer geeks thinking they know better.

Bag of s h y t e in my opinion, but what can we do ...........

So has any computer wizz kid got any way that I can revert to the CLASSIC FACEBOOK. Pretty please.
A friend of mine says do you have windows 10? as this switch only appears if you are using windows 10, please don't shoot me

Interestingly if I go into Facebook on chrome I get no choice to choose which version , it’s just stuck on the old version .

I use Windows 10 and either Chrome or Firefox depending on which browser I am using at the time - both still on the Classic setting.

There's a video here but I found it a bit annoying. However if you read the information by opening the full comments, it tells you to use the option to Report a Problem to Facebook, which apparently will be resolved by them over a couple of days:

You have to get past the bit about the drop-down menu if you watch the video! 😉

I view FB on my Pc using Firefox browser - I had the 'facebook purity' add on which seemed to have stopped working after the latest 'update' but this morning it has offered me the option to switch back to 'classic FB' which I have done.

I've used FB Purity for years also... They work really hard to get rid of all the stuff that nobody likes about Facebook.
Fluff Busting is definitely what they do.
I particularly like the filter options which allows me to stop seeing all those photos of kids standing on the doorstep in school uniform every year when the September new year starts and more recently, all of those private sales of homemade facemasks 🤐

I see that Facebook.com is changing, and all members will have to use the new version from September.
