From Arodes to Polis

Post by Dominic »

Today, let's slow it down a bit. A nice relaxing drive, filmed before lockdown, from Arodes to Polis. The route takes in a good chunk of our second road trip. You can purchase that on Amazon, if you would like to know more about it.

https://amzn.to/2EsOlEP

We've selected some nice relaxing music to go with the film, so turn the sound up, sit back, and enjoy...

Yes, I think it is because the film is so large. It is about 26 minutes long.

I will try uploading to youtube, but that is proving difficult at the moment because google are putting restrictions on film uploads because of Corona and bandwidth.

Very nice video in that speed and the quality now....(watched it on 46" wide screen), liked also the 360 effects at the end of the video, thank you Dominic... It makes me itch to go for a ride :(

Awww, somebody sent a nice message to our Facebook page:

I just want to say privately i have just watched your video through Paphos and has brought a tear to my eye, so beautifully done, the work you have done towards this must have been so time consuming and I want you to know how much how appreciated it is. We’ve missed our Easter break but will be back when we can. We love Paphos and it will always have a very special place in our hearts ❤️ thank you

That is so very true Dominic even when you have the luxury of living on the island one doesn’t always take the time to fully appreciate ones surrounding as with every Country one lives in, it’s been years since I had the pleasure of driving this route but it’s will definitely be on my “to do list” whenever lockdown is eased and some normality returns to our daily lives

Next up will be from Polis to Peristerona via Pelathousa.

Need to come up with a catchier title than that though.

And a thank you from me also Dominic. Amazing what you miss as the driver on that journey but also enjoyed your choice of music. Not a very original title but perhaps the "The three pee journey" assuming you have to stop somewhere for relief :)
