So they dropped the case against him, a smooth move on his part as presumably he can retire with his full salary and benefits... But it seems a little surprising that having waited until the last minute all the effort which went into Investigating and then charging him and the cost has now been wasted. And the architect in question continues to take money from the Govt once retired.
As if nothing had happened.
