King Evelthon Hotel - attempted child kidnap

Post by galexinda »

A British mother claims her daughter could have been the 'next Maddie McCann' after a maid tried to snatch her while she napped on holiday.
Siobhan Prescott, 25, claims she woke to find her one-year-old daughter Harper crying as a dark-haired woman in her 40s attempted to pick her up out of her cot at the five star King Evelthon Beach and Hotel Resort in Chloraca Bay, Cyprus.

Sounds indeed very odd to me too. What has the being naked got to do with not being able to get your child. What a strange story.

Sounds to me like an awful misunderstanding. Is it possible that the maid (with her trolley outside in the corridor) was simply coming back to see if the kiddie's cot bedding needed changing?

Is it possible than when the Maid cleaned the room earlier, Mum and Dad were down in the restaurant having a slap-up buffet brekky, while the kiddie was fast asleep in the cot, so she didn't want to disturb the child?

Then maybe a boozy all-inclusive lunch followed by Siesta time, before hitting the restaurant for a boozy evening dinner? The DM photos do paint a bit of a picture regarding the parents, I must say...

Agree 100% with the above posters! Cheers- AL :)
