I have just discovered that if I upload the images straight from my phone to Facebook, I can then download them from facebook and they are automatically resized to a forum-friendly dimension.
Worth remembering. Not suitable for blogs, as I like the better quality and flexibility afforded by my DSLR, but for snaps this means I can cross-post pics on here and facebook without having to faff around with photo editors etc.
