Thanks, Flossie!

There used to be a smashing little taverna right outside PFO terminal, then another one a little further along the road on the left (before you swung left around the bend at Timi beach, to get to the main Pafos/Lemasos old road). Both sadly nuked now...

Cheers- AL :)

We went there last visit, maybe December ore earlier, and we were disappointed. The view was lovely and the food was fine. Unfortunately it was impossible to escape the music from the large speakers and we were unable to chat with our friends. Also, if you are a non smoker, we couldn't get away from the cigarette smoke. Because it was breezy wherever we sat we had smoke blowing across our table. It has a big enough seating area to at least make some attempt at splitting it half and half.
(Please don't turn my comment into an argument about smokers/non smokers. I am just making a comment on my visit). Pat

I'm a heavy smoker, sadly. Can't give it up and now nearing 70, I have COPD and Emphizema(?), so on a daily diet of three medicines, inhalers, capsules etc..

But one thing I always did when out for a meal in Cyprus, whether alone or with friends, indoors or open air, was if I fancied a ciggy- to always leave the eating area and go well downwind to light up.

Cheers- AL :)

That is very considerate of you Al. I am sorry you haven't been able to give up. I know it is difficult.

just to remind smokers, there are now laws regarding smoking in the vicinity of restaurants which once used the "outdoors" part to smoke, are no longer acceptable. supposedly been in force about 4-6 months. hey," this is Cyprus"!
