This is a video of a cheetah family I took in the Kenyan Masai Mara nature reserve. An impala is killed by the mother while its three cubs have a feast. The cheetahs' methods of keeping an eye open to prevent the prey being stolen by lions, leopards, hyenas, vultures and other predators is shown. The mother cheetah, totally exhausted from the chase and strangling its prey, cannot start feeding for more than 10 minutes after the kill. The unique close-ups of the animals are captivating.
