Re: Vretsia Tavern
Skarfos is actually going to be the first one I cover in my blog. I went there last weekend, and to the mill, and the abandoned village on the banks of the reservoir.
After that, the Inlaws will be visiting, so I will take them along the Camel trail, to get four more. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been to Kelafos but some new pics won't go amiss.

Re: Vretsia Tavern
BTW, were you solo on that very adventurous journey? If so, what sort of backup support did you have with you, just in case things went pear-shaped?
These thoughts often occured to me, after driving tracks like you did (for walks suggestions) in my borrowed ancient Toyota 2WD Twin Cab truck on my own, pumping in Magellan satnav co-ordinates for most of the villages (deserted or occupied) in that whole Paphos region...
If you are still in Cyprus with your amazing HarleyD and live A/V headcam, can I suggest a challenge for you to try, please? I tried it on a rented 125cc Yamaha trail bike, but turned around after the first kilometre, in order to change my underwear!
Top left on the Paphos Tourist Map, Akamas NE coast from Aphrodites Baths to Cape Armaoutis track, please? Here's the view on the way back along this skinny cliffside track, heading back down to Latchi / Polis. A hairy, but exhilarating ride/drive, with absolutely spectacular views and photo opportunities...
Cheers- AL

You can see a load of shots from that area here:
https://www.paphoslife.com/blog/akamas_church
If you go along that track you pass below that church. You will only see it when you are heading towards the Blue Lagoon though.
I think the whitest knuckle ride on the Akamas is the track to the lighthouse.
