olive tree Polemi
Re: olive tree Polemi
Apparently their plans are not conclusive yet, Polemi may stay open but a smaller operation than exists, we will see.

I had understood it would eventually be a total move, but many rumours abound.

Andreas has been talking of moving back to Stroumbi (the original Olive Tree was next to the new building), for the last 16/17 years.
Don't hold your breath.

I hope it stays open, it’s the heart of the village
If you never ask the question, the answer will always be....no
Re: olive tree Polemi
Yes, they have a gold mine there always loads of people from lunch till late, both locals and tourists, however it does die down a bit in winter.
I believe it is rented and the premises size is large, the large interior part only gets used in Winter so empty for most of the year.
Common sense would suggest keeping both places open at least until the Stroumbi place is making good money.
I expect someone else would take it on if it does close.
