Refinishing floor tiles

Post by jonjo »

I have those standard 'Aristo' marble effect floor tiles and they now need to be diamond sanded and repolished - to make things worse I have also tipped acid on a few and removed the polished surface!

I am hoping this can be achieved and avoid the need to tile over the top and replace on the stairs.

Please PM me if you know anyone who can help. I am in Peyia.

Many thanks
Jon

Consider overlaying those 'cold to walk on in bare feet' tiles with wood flooring panels, Jon, perhaps with a layer of insulation twixt the two?

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to cut a large (18 inch) tile in half? I have a tile cutter saw but it is designed for smaller tile, so I will end up with the middle half not cut, so to speak.
