I wonder if Blenheim took any extra security measures against a
burglary? Would have thought that they would with such a valuable item on loan to them.

Apparently it wasn't only for looking at, you could take a dump in it, when it was in the states

Yes, that’s why it was reported that by ripping it out from the water supply it caused a flood at Blenheim. It’s dreadful the way the thieves opearated.
