Our remote control for the TV was not working properly it was difficult to turn on and off the TV and here’s how I fixed it.
I removed the screws on the back of the remote control then went to the bottom and prized it open then worked up the sides to open it up.
I noted where the on /off button was and found the contacts on the PCB which looked dirty
Using a cotton bud and pure alcohol I cleaned both the board and button on the inside and let it dry.
Then put it back together and replaced the batteries.
Bingo now it is working like a new one.
