used to love going to the Akrotiri airbase with my dad,being up against the the chain link fence by the runway watching the Lightnings and Vulcan bombers taking off just over 200 yds away,the roar of the engines tingles down my spine,from then wanted to be a pilot,alas colour blindness blew that out he window ....but i did get to fly a chipmunk over the isle of sheppey while in the ATC!
